Who doesn't love a good cuddle session? Joe got home a little late from work tonight, so the kids hopped into their jammies and jumped on the couch with their daddy to cuddle! I love watching the 3 of them together! Both Emma and Jack adore Joe, and Joe them! It is so sweet to see. They are all so lucky!

Design your own Pizza Night!
Since it's Emma's spring break and things have been really crazy around the Carnival house. I decided to change things up a bit for dinner tonight. I thought the kids could design their own pizzas, from putting the sauce on to finishing it off with the cheese! Both Emma and Jack LOVE to help out in the kitchen, so when I told them they got to cook they were so excited! They are in the oven and about ready to come out and eat! YUM!!

Copper Penny
Elmo sadly had to put her (our family dog) Jazz to sleep about a month ago. Jazz was so full of life and was always waiting at the door when you walked in. When Elmo had to make the decision to put her down it was heart breaking for all of us. However, we know she is in a better place. While Jazz can never be replaced my mom does love having pets, and she is a great dog owner. Today she brought home her new puppy, 9 week old chocolate lab Copper Penny! She is adorable! The kids and I went up to visit her tonight, and as we were leaving Emma was calling out the window to Elmo, asking when can we have another play date with Copper Penny? Both Emma and Jack had so much fun with her. Welcome to the family Copper Penny!!
Campaign kick off party
There is no better way to start a campaign than with a kick off party. Joe and I opened our home to family, friends and Erie residents so that Joe could inform them of his platform. He is so excited about how far the Town of Erie has come and the potential it has yet to reach. It has been such an amazing experience for our whole family! Emma turned 5 on February 18th! It is so hard to believe how fast the time has gone. She is so confident, strong willed, funny and has one of the kindest hearts. I thank god everyday that he chose me to be her mom!
She loves tea, and tea parties. So for her birthday I pulled out the fine china, linens and made peanut butter & jelly crust less sandwiches for her 2 girlfriends from school Mia and Riley and her favorite boys to play with Jack, Clayton & Taylor. Auntie Jamie was her to help me make it special. (Luckily, she brought the tea pots! Wouldn't have been much of a tea party without the teapots!) All the kids had so much fun. The boys even liked the tea more than I had anticipated. After the tea party we met Mimi & Poppa at the Southern Sun for dinner. It started snowing, but we still made it over to Boulder to celebrate our darling girl. Talk about a birthday week, on Sunday we had the whole family over for Joe's famous green chile and cupcakes and cookies. Each day I have with her is so amazing, she is my greatest teacher! Happy Birthday Emma, I love you!!
