Hot Tubbing....

Joe and I got a hot tub from some of our good friends, several months ago. After moving it here, it still needed to be leveled, and all the electrical needed to be done. For Joe's Father's day gift his parents surprised him with the parts to install the electrical and help to do it. So last two Saturdays, Joe his dad and Uncle have leveled the hot tub and got all the electrical set up, filled and it's heated. Joe and I sat in it for the first time last night. It was wonderful, under the stars after a long day in the heat. Tonight we did a family hot tub night, the kids LOVE it! What a great way to end the day! Thanks Crystal and Brian!!

4th of July festivities....

I had to work on the 4th this year, which I was actually excited about. Erie community center put on a firecracker 4k race the morning of the 4th. It was such a fun event to be a part of, and a perfect way to start out the day! (Even if it was very early!!) The weekend started with Joe surprising me and taking off Friday. We had a quiet evening on Friday, Saturday was full...swimming, block party with our good friends the Rummel's, fireworks at Vista ridge with family and friends. Sunday started early with the firecracker 4k, nap, BBQ at Cody & Crystal's and it ended with a trip to Taco bell. Joe was also off today, we got so much done laundry, cleaned and had such a wonderful day and evening just the 4 of us! It was such a wonderful 4th of July weekend!!
