Buddies...

What a blessing to have such wonderful friends in your life. Joe and I are blessed with the most amazing friends. I thank god everyday for each and every one of them. They are all different relationships, but all equally important. What's cool about our friends, is they also have kids! Which means our kids have amazing friends!!
The Weitzel's are some of our very dear friends! Emma loves Stella, and Stella loves Emma. The other great part is, they love and include Jack in everything. Very sweet!

Go Rockies!

For father's day the kids and I got Joe tickets to the Rockies game. It was the first game the kids had been too. It was a perfect Colorado night, it was also not very crowded. We all had such a wonderful night together! Seeing things through your children's eyes is one of the most amazing things ever! Happy Father's Day honey! We all love and cherish you and what you do for us!

the vacation continues....

after a week in Vail at the CML conference, we headed to Grand Lake. We met the kids, Mimi, Poppa, Auntie, Uncle, Clayton and Taylor in Grand Lake for a weekend on the lake. Uncle and Auntie brought their boat. After everyone got there on Friday night, the kids played and the adults sat and visited and had a few drinks. Saturday was followed by boating, napping, reading, visiting and being together. It was a perfect weekend! Thanks Auntie Jamie for organizing the weekend together!

CML

Every year Joe is invited to the CML conference. This year it was in Vail. We were fortunate enough to have the kids stay with Mimi and Poppa. Unfortunately Jack came down with a cold the night before we were leaving, Mimi being the amazing woman she is, still kept the kids for us. We headed up to Vail, and had a wonderful time together. Joe had some conferences he needed to attend, but there was still plenty of time for being together. While he was in his classes, I laid by the pool, and got to socialize with the other wives of the Erie board of trustees. At night, we were wined and dined. We had amazing meals, drinks and company. We also took our bikes up there and did a few really fun and beautiful rides. It was a great week together! Looking forward to next years CML

Fore!

Every Wednesday is family night at Colorado National Golf Club, while we don't go every Wednesday every time we do it is so much fun! After eating dinner, having a few beers and letting the kids run crazy with other crazy kids, we hit some golf balls. Jack loves doing this with Joe, and Joe loves doing it with Jack. Such a great way to break up the week!

Fathers Day

This year it was not a typical Father's day, it was also my dad's 60Th birthday! While we didn't get to be with him and celebrate, he was on my mind all day! We did however, get to spend a wonderful day with 3 amazing Father's and men!! The day started showering Joe with breakfast and gifts, he got a Swiss army knife (which he has wanted) and tickets to the Rockies game for us to do as a family. Then we headed out to Baseline lake to continue celebrating wonderful Father's. Poppa, Uncle Chad and Uncle Gary were all out there. Auntie Jamie and I got the boys a relaxation station to use at the lake. I don't think much relaxing will go on in there, but I do know the 4 grand kids love it! Happy Father's Day to my unbelievable husband, my father in law, brother in law and uncle in law. Such wonderful men!!!

Eye on the ball

Emma is playing tee ball for the 2nd year. When I told her I signed her up, she started crying and told me she didn't want to play. I told her she didn't have too, but to make the decision before it gets started. She decided to play, we have missed a few games and practices. But when we are there she has a lot of fun. I am always so proud watching her, especially when it's things that are out of her comfort zone.

Emma & Jack

Every parent loves their children, and are biased at how beautiful, smart, loving etc... the list goes on. Well I am no different, our babies steal my heart every single day! I am so grateful that I was the woman chosen to be their mom! They are two of the most wonderful people on this planet! (Along with their dad)!

Horsetooth

Auntie Jamie and Uncle Chad went camping/boating at Horse tooth Res. They invited us to join. We weren't able to camp because I had an early cycle class to teach the next morning, but we spent the entire day, had dinner and even did smores up in Fort Collins. Both Joe and I had never been to Horse tooth before. The water was a little cold, but that didn't stop everyone from wake boarding and surfing. Always such a fun day at the lake, surrounded by beautiful scenery and wonderful company! Thanks for including us all in such a fun day! As you can see, the kids were beat by the time we headed back to Erie!

Ribs....

My mom is a wonderful cook, but there are a few things that she makes that are out of this world. Ribs happen to be one of them! The flavor, so tender! Mine aren't as good as my mom's, but hopefully the more I make them the better they will get! Thanks for teaching me the ways mom!
